A highly experienced Mechanical and Product Design Engineer with over 25 years expertise spanning automotive, child restraint systems, medical device and consumer products in industry, consultancy, start-ups and leading brands. Skilled in taking concepts from initial sketch through to mass production, with extensive knowledge of design processes, CAD (SolidWorks, CATIA V5, Onshape), prototyping, supplier liaison and international project management. Recognised for patents in safety systems and consumer products, and for highly collaborative teamwork designing innovative products now in serial production. Bilingual in English (native) and German (fluent), able to bridge communication across international teams. Currently seeking freelance or consultancy roles in Product Development, as a Mechanical Design Engineer or Lead Engineer in Germany or internationally.
